Next week

I realized I haven't actually done anything recently, so in a week I'm gonna post a video of the woods around where I live. I hope you guys like it!

Broken Camera

The bags were gone. Someone likely took them down. They're probably nothing of note and not important; I just find this interesting, especially since nothing really ever happens around here.

On another note, I dropped my camera in the stream by the path. It's currently being repaired, yay! So for now, expect mostly just text posts or radio silence.

Hey, I have a camcorder. I might just take a video of the trail to show people.

No pics today, but there should be some tomorrow

I was biking through the woods today, so I didn't have a chance to take a pic of this since I was biking, but I saw something pretty weird. There were 4 or 5 full trash bags hanging from trees along the path at a part pretty deep into the woods. I dunno what they were there for, but it was pretty weird. I'm going to head back tomorrow and get a pic if they're still there.

More Pictures of the Grey Lake

The bridge across the road leading to it.

The bridge.

The lake itself again.

Artsy stuff.

Just another picture of the woods

Sorry I didn't post yesterday; it was raining heavily and I chose to stay inside. Here is a picture of the woods from one of the trails that runs through them.

A bit more about me

I realized that I should probably post a little more about myself, so you know whose pictures you're looking at.

My name is Jake, as said before. I don't really want to give more than that. I'm 19, and I just started my first year of Physical Science in University. Photography's more of a past-time for me, not an actual job. I just realized a while ago that I enjoy taking pictures, especially of natural scenes, so I decided to dedicate some more time to doing so.

I don't really have any professional equipment, so the photos uploaded here may not be of the best quality. That's okay, though; it's really more of a thing for me to document these, as I said, and I'm happy with how they are, If anyone else happens to like them as well, that's just a bonus, I guess.

Here's an image of the woods about 10 minutes away from my apartment complex. Most of the trees are dead right now because of winter, but hopefully they'll be up soon.

Just an Introduction

Hey, all. My name's Jake, but you can just call me the Nature Pic Guy. I've recently started taking photography lessons in my spare time, and it's become somewhat of a hobby for me. I particularly enjoy taking pictures of nature, so I decided that I would start uploading them to a blog of some kind for storage, and to see if anyone else liked them

Here's my first to be uploaded here.

That was taken last week in my visit to Pennsylvania. The lake in question is called "Grey Lake". I sadly didn't catch why they named it that. I'm back home now, though, so more pictures from PA is unlikely.

I hope anyone who finds this blog enjoys the images provided, and if anyone can give comments or criticism on how well I'm doing, that'd be great!
